You will participate inthe development and certification of product functionality across multipleprograms. This will enable you to support new products, processes, standards oroperational plans within the organization's business strategies, with a directimpact on business unit/function overall results.We are looking for a software oriented versatileapplication engineer active in different domains within delivery and supportactivities, including the development of customizations. Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for technical design creation/validation for a given functional analysisResponsible to deliver/lead/control within a project team : “code development” & “unit code testing” according to agreed quality standards in order to deliver customized functionality in line with the project scope or change request scope. Within a proejct team, code development will be done by the SW application engineer, custom code development team AND by outsourced development teams.Responsible for configuration of Honeywell Smart Energy componentsInvolved in FAT, SAT & UAT testingProduce / Support production of specific project documentation (internal/external)Contribute to the overall project SW quality level through peer review & internal training/coaching. Participation in setup of necessary system and tools to support SW delivery activities.Responsible to adhere to the agreed standards and practices in using the internal SW tools (eg Jira, confluence …)Actively involved in migration activities and initial system load activities (master data & historical data)Act as development lead for customized code development activities within the project (technical lead role)Responsible for release management activities within the project (release manager role)Responsible for development coordination of internal and external development resources through agile based, agreed best practices like standup meetings etc.Supports the provisioning of customer training services.YOU MUST HAVESoftware/ Computer applications engineer or electronics engineer (Master or Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering) Some experience in Software applications or engineeringKnowledge of software configuration management practicesTechnical authority on Applications for an OEM programConsistently making timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.Engaged in the definition, development, and oversight of bench usage and configurations required for COE product testingYou artfully convey even subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience.Ability to find the correct balance between demand and capacity when establishing priorities for the organization.Support the technical portion of proposals to address future business opportunities with the OEMAvailability to travel in EMEA max 20% of the timeWe OfferA culture that fosters inclusion, diversity and innovationMarket specific training and ongoing personal developmentCareer growth opportunities;Experienced leaders to support your professional development.International work environment;If this is your dream role, then we'd love tohear from you.We are an equal opportunity employer and valuediversity at our company.
