Join a team recognized for leadership, innovation and diversityAs Project Manager you will be responsible with the end-to-enddelivery of assigned value engineering projects, from the Charter Approvalthrough to full availability to customers. You will be the one to driveprogress throughout the project lifecycle by providing focus for thecontributors, owning and tracking project plans and working to identify andresolve issues and blockages that arise. You will have the responsibility forthe project itself, irrespective of ownership of the resources, and they workacross functions, line-management and organizational boundaries to achievecomprehensive delivery.Oversee and direct operations (SBG) and be part of overseeing anddirecting operations for world-class integrated supply chain projects. You willassess project issues and develop enhanced resolutions to meet or exceedproductivity, quality, and customers satisfaction goals and objectives. Youwill develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for interventionand problem solving with key stakeholders.Key Responsibilities-Ensure Product Requirements are detailed and signed-off,including necessary peripheral items for complete delivery. Manage requirementchanges during the project, updating plans and escalating impact as necessary.Contribute to identifying cross-product impacts and system implications.-Planning: Develop andagree detailed and achievable project plans with all contributors. Create andmaintain all project plans in Microsoft Project or as required;-Resourcing: Agree project team with resource managers.Negotiate to obtain necessary project resources, staff and equipment. ---Createproject Capex and approval documentation in line with agreed processes. RaisePurchase Requisitions for equipment and services specifically required for theproject.-Project Tracking: Use Accolade for tracking project progressagainst plan and spend (resource and costs) against budget. Resolve issues thatarise, escalating if required. Ensure all deliverables are completed to planand quality targets and these and these are correctly updated and tracked intoAccolade.-Reporting: Produce a weekly report (in defined format) showingprogress and achievements, and identifying risks and issues with proposedmitigation plans. Track accurately VE Saving Plan/Forecast and Actual inAccolade.-Communication: Keep extended team and all internal customersinformed of progress and changes. Act as an interface for the project toProduct Managers and other business processes (e.g. Marketing communications)-Drive Projects to completion: Organize and lead Kick-offMeeting with multi-discipline team. Organize and chair formal Project Reviewsand Milestone/Gate Reviews in accordance with HBT processes. Chair andadminister regular project team meetings to track progress and deal with issuesand blockages arising. Ensure formal process steps are followed and projectrecords are maintained to process requirements.-Coordinate Cross-functional activities and engagement: Ensurecross-functional contributors are engaged and committed, and facilitate them todeliver their contribution in line with agreed plans. Maintain effective linkswith the R&D Centre, Sourcing, Regulatory and ISC Manufacturing sites.-Risk Management: Prepare and manage risk reduction strategies andplans. Generate and maintain a project risk register in agreed format.Encourage use of best practices in planning, development and test to reducerisk throughout the project lifecycle.YOU MUST HAVE-Bachelor's Degree-At least 3 years experience in electronics, and/or project management of technical work-Strong planning, organizing and project management skills-Understanding of Firmware or NPI development processes-Good Financial Acumen-Ability to present idea and plans to senior business leaders;WE VALUE-Lean expert or Black belt-Some project management or ISC Experience-Global company working experience-Professional in Microsoft Office-Lead/drive change, and influence/mentor othersIf this is your dream role, then we'd love to hear from you!We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
