  • Discuss, understand and document project stakeholder business requirements to direct software and business process development
  • Write business requirement documents
  • Collaborate with the development team to design and present the proposition to the stakeholders/users
  • Work with the during the development phase to ensure business requirements are met and that requirements and specification documents are kept up to date
  • Proactively manage changes to requirements to ensure all parties have a full understanding of the required changes and the system/process/project implications
  • Work with the development team to test the software and business processes developed to ensure they satisfy the business requirements, and meet the design/specification

  • Work in a dynamic, collaborative, and transparent environment
  • Facilitate and lead workshops that generate ideas and content for solutions
  • Orchestrate the collaboration between Product Owner, Business sponsors, Subject matter experts, Testers, and Development groups by removing roadblocks and fostering communication
  • Be instrumental in the analysis, design and building of critical and complex custom-designed, Syndicated Commercial Loan Platform that uses a wide range of the very latest technologies
  • Demonstrated experience working successfully with teams to deliver software
  • Experience prioritizing competing demands and obtaining buy-in from stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve conflict with stakeholders
  • Strong facilitation experience
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and explain issues from both a technical and a business functional point of view

  • Experience with modeling business processes utilizing a variety of tools and techniques
  • An understanding of traditional development approaches, and the ability to compare and contrast benefits of each
  • Experience in mentoring and executing Agile, Lean, and Continuous Delivery best practices
  • A genuine passion for quality software - and the know-how to get from sketch to code
  • Experience with JIRA or other Agile project management and issue tracking tools
  • Experience in Investment Banking preferably in Loan Finance

The Banking Products IT (BPIT) group is seeking a Java Developer for the Strategic Syndicated Commercial Loans Platform and Loan Lifecycle Management System. The system where the bank manages all loan life cycle events. It provides draw-down control, real-time limit availability checking and detailed limit data. Main functions within the banks infrastructure: drawdown capture, funding, risk, cash settlement and accounting.
