Role purpose:

This role is part of a growing Business Support Management team, within the Programme Management Office Department.

The Vodafone Cloud & Infrastructure Business Support Specialist is involved in key strategic initiatives within the Vodafone Cloud & Infrastructure (VCI) business area.

You will be contributing and coordinating complex medium to large scale initiatives from initiation through delivery.

Your focus is on cross-functional initiatives that serve major parts of VCI business and could be business critical for Vodafone business. This will require you to communicate across departments as an authority on initiatives issues to business managers, engineers, senior and top managers.

You will also be involved in budget discussions, budget lifecycle.

You will contribute to enable the on-going development of key strategic business differentiators for Vodafone by contribution and supporting the delivery of new and innovative products, features, capabilities and services.

  • Ability to act as a SPOC for VCI Senior Leadership team within her/his Management team/community
  • Ensure adherence to the governance process
  • Proactively propose optimisations, processes improvement, use of new technologies

  • Interest in learning new IT technologies and how they can be used to create business value

  • With these skills you are a great candidate:

  • Strong communication and decision making skills with the ability to balance conflicting interests
  • Knowledge of operational procedures and process standards (e.g. ITIL)
  • Good understanding of IT Infrastructure concepts ( Servers, Storages, Data Bases, IP Network, Security)
  • Good understanding of the Big Data and BI platforms, Citrix platforms and Citrix Operations, E2E service and services lifecycle management for enablers (Implementation/ integration/deployment of tools)
  • Global Experience with program launches in multiple geographies simultaneously
  • Ability to comprehend, troubleshoot and describe complex processes and issues to colleagues at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to influence internal & external stakeholders
  • Good business vision, process-oriented and strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
