Do you want to join an organization that gives back to the community and enables you to make a difference? TELUS International has award-winning Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs, as we understand the relationship between the success of our company and the wellbeing of our community.

“We give where we live” - these five simple words embody our approach to CSR and volunteering. Our flagship global initiative is TELUS Days of Giving, an annual event where our team members join efforts to better the communities in which they live, work and serve. To date, our Romanian team members have volunteered over 18,000 hours in local TELUS Days of Giving events, building homes, refurbishing daycare centers or constructing entire schools from the ground up.

In 2022, 150 volunteers took part in the Plogging Challenge, successfully cleaning up a section of the Andronache forest in Bucharest. Additionally, 300 remote team members from over 20 counties in Romania dedicated their time and effort to cleaning up various areas in their communities. The collaborative endeavors resulted in the collection of 1000 trash bags, amounting to a total of 5 tons of trash.

Through our partners, we took part in a tree-planting campaign in Romania, wherein for every kilogram of trash collected, ten trees were planted. This endeavor aims to foster the growth of a new forest and contribute to the ecological well-being of the region.

TELUS International Romania Community Board has had a positive contribution to the lives of more than 32,935 beneficiaries by sponsoring 96 projects across the country with a total amount of $500,000.
