Cum a decurs interviul?

I applied for a position in Philips Netherlands, at Factory. I was already meeting all the requirements from job description on LinkedIn, besides location - outside Netherlands. I have several years in the company as well, proven achievements and top performance.
The overall experience was rather traumatizing. I got 2 rejections on email after applying, then 2 weeks later I got an interview invite. A Dutch lady invited me, very early morning. She seemed obviously disturbed by the fact that she needs to interview me, an already existing employee, as I was not Dutch person. After explaining to me that she already has 6 candidates, Dutch, and that it is useless interviewing me (very disrespectful), she started reading some questions from a list.

Intrebări și teste la interviu

A few normal questions, then what followed was shocking:
- when are you planning to have a baby? how many hours are you planning to work after having a baby? (relocation excluded from discussion, but they expected not to have any maternity leave after giving birth and come back straight to work);
- how many hours extra can you work in a day? more than 8?
- have you applied to other companies? how many applications? more than 10? on which roles? higher positions or lower positions than this one?
- why did you apply to this one if you are also searching in other companies? are you planning to use this one as backup plan until you will find something better?

a lot of red flags and inappropriate/illegal questions, which i diplomatically refused to develop further.
at the end, there was a monologue from her side:

- we will share feedback with hiring manager but we already have candidates, only if all dutch people reject, then you will be taken into account and if decision is justified, maybe they will consider you as a potential candidate. your main advantage is that you are a cheap country.

i politely closed the call and wished her a nice day, after being called ,,cheap labor,,. i was already disappointed in the management in Europe in Philips, and in the regions, but I never felt so much disrespect during any of the interviews i had in my entire life. more painful coming from a female colleague.

They are treating people like cheap labor, employees are very good while they produce money, people are getting fired at any time with the stupid justification of ,,restructuring,,. They expect 1 person covers 3 roles, absorbs all the workload from all the people leaving with no compensation. Management would fire half of the company for 1 tictac, 1 coffee and 0.3% cost savings to justify to the leadership in a blink of an eye.

I feel sad because i invested so much work and passion in this company and I have been treated in such horrible manner in the past year, including also the interview.

I would advise even the people i do not like to go to any other company, this one is not worth it. unless it is on a huge salary and you do job hopping. otherwise i would not recommend.
