• You have successfully completed a degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a comparable Course of Study.
• You are fundamentally interested in software development and are not afraid to learn other programming languages.
• Good knowledge as a software developer (front- or backend) in some of the programming languages/frameworks, such as Java, Cobol, Angular, SQL as well as know-how on database and REST-API topics.
• Practical experience with version control systems (e.g. Git), Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and build tools (e.g. Maven).
• Experience in the design of business processes in the field of logistics, ideally in the area of warehouse logistics/warehousing.
• Good written and spoken English (German language skills are an advantage)
• As Application Consultant Logistics, you will implement requirements for the existing warehouse system (currently HP Nonstop) of our central logistics for end devices and spare parts both as part of a team and independently.
• You will support one of our most important customer supply areas in the continuous optimization of its highly automated logistics processes and their system integration.
• As part of the team, you will design, implement and integrate IT solutions and also provide 3rd level support
• Furthermore, you will ensure the smooth transition of the solutions developed in projects into operation and support the change management of the newly defined processes and methods in the specialist area.
