Client Description:

Lead two biggest alcohol brands in Romania, you will be responsible for setting the long term brand strategy, delivering in year financial commitments and excellent execution of all growth drivers. You will work in collaboration with the Romanian commercial team and Global Marketing team. 


Responsibilities:

Overall Goals

1. Deliver the annual budget for Romania

2. Set the direction and align activity plans for alcohol brands.

3. Drive excellent in execution of brand growth drivers

4. Measure and report performance – financial, consumer and growth drivers

6. Build marketing capability of wider Romanian team

 

Specific goals

1. Deliver the annual budget.

- Liaise with commercial team to assess P&L deliver

- Ensure A&P is on Budget

- Identify activity improvements to over deliver Budget

 

2. Set the direction.

- Align 3yr plan for the brands: price segments; key outlets/channels; size of prize and key interventions to win

- Align annual Brand plans: financial and A&P targets; distribution target; price & promotional target; key activity and execution target.

- Review and course correct annual brand plan as required.

 

3. Drive excellent in execution.

- Ensure creation and production of all marketing materials are disruptive, in line with Brand toolkit and cost effective. This will cover brand specific, multi-brand and related corporate activity. Led local adaptation or creation.

- Ensure execution of consumer advertising activity is effective and efficient e.g. digital, social and events.

- Ensure execution of in outlet physical activity is effective and efficient.

- Ensure execution of packaging updates, VAPs and limited edition pack are effective and efficient.

- Lead sales brief, development of appropriate sales propositions and tools and present to customers as required.

 

4. Effective management of brand owners and reporting

- Lead monitoring of Brand performance and evaluation of key growth drivers.

- Lead competitor and industry understanding and implication for our business

- Lead the relationship with Global Marketing team and advertising/media agencies

 

5. Build marketing capability

- Help create and adhere to appropriate process and systems

- Help identify capability interventions for all marketing employee

- Be an ambassador for our brands and brand building internally.


Candidate Profile:

·      Degree level

·      6yrs+ brand management experience

·      3yrs min in FMCG industry, multi-national and local

·      Beer, wine, spirit sector experience preferred eg bar work, retail

·       English fluent

·      Strong communicator both verbal and written

·      Operate across all levels of company

·      Experienced in managing brand P&L and execution in MT and TT
