Description
We're seeking a Cloud Technology Leader for EPAM Romania with an enterprise application engineering background and experience with Public Cloud services. Cloud Technology Leader is a Director-level role focused on designing cloud strategies and implementing cloud-native architectures & applications for our clients, driving R&D & IP creation for EPAM Cloud Practice, and promoting within our teams the Cloud technology mastery & culture of engineering excellence.
WHAT YOU HAVE
- Avid technologist playing a technology leadership role in a leading international or local company.;
- Software engineering background in complex enterprise application development in Java, .Net or Python;
- Good understanding and hands-on experience with Public Cloud computing services;
- Previous exposure to IoT is strongly preferred.;
- Responsibility for sizeable teams. Ideally, experience managing distributed teams and working in a matrix environment.;
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to proactively organize and influence stakeholders and build strong and effective working relationships.;
- Strong communication skills and ability to present technical ideas in business-friendly language. Public speaking and client presentation experience;
- High energy style & ambitious, flexible, and adaptive approach, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment. Permanent motivation for growth, challenge, and change;
- Willingness and ability to make regular business trips, both domestic and international;
