Your Impact:

As a Compensation and benefits Specialist at OpenText, you’ll help shape our Total Rewards strategy across EMEA. Your expertise in compensation and benefits will drive the design, delivery, and governance of programs that support our evolving workforce.
You’ll focus on consolidating benefit offerings, building sustainable plan management, and supporting strategic initiatives like acquisitions, benchmarking, and gender equity analysis. Your work ensures our reward programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with business goals—enhancing employee experience and organizational success.

What the role offers:

• Design and deliver benefits programs tailored to regional needs and workforce trends.
• Support HR and business leaders with compensation benchmarking and salary range development.
• Lead gender pay monitoring and reporting across assigned countries.
• Drive M&A integration, including legacy benefit consolidation (e.g., pension plans in Germany).
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, contracts, and policies through audits and reporting.
• Coordinate annual plan renewals, cost evaluations, and employee communications.
• Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships to ensure service quality and issue resolution.
• Act as a subject matter expert and escalation point for reward-related inquiries.
• Develop communication materials and training for benefit programs.
• Conduct market analysis and recommend plan enhancements.
• Prepare cost projections and reports to support governance and decision-making.
• Stay current on legislation and industry trends to inform strategy.

What you need to succeed:

• 3–5 years of experience in a reward-focused role, ideally in a regional (Romania) or international setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field; professional qualification progress is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of local regulations and compliance across EMEA.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical mindset with a proactive, independent approach.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills; SAP SuccessFactors and MarketPay experience are assets.
• Commitment to confidentiality and professional integrity.
