• At least five years’ equivalent working experience (as full-time employment)

• Accounting, Economics or Finance bachelor’s degree

• Knowledge of Romanian accounting principles and taxation

• Experience with Microsoft Office

• Capability to work under minimum supervision

• Capability to quickly understand new technologies and situations

• Good understanding of English Language

• Capability to respect deadlines and daily routines

Nice to have:

• Experienced with an ERP system, preferable Business Central

• Fluent in English Language

• Track income and expenses

• Post daily transactions

• Handle accounts payables and receivables on a daily basis

• Perform monthly reconciliations for all accounts

• Issue invoices

• Maintain tax registers

• VAT accounting and preparing VAT tax returns

• Calculate income tax liabilities and prepare tax returns

• WHT tax, property taxes

• Verify documents and follow up with suppliers and other business partners

• Month-end closing entries and prepare monthly trial balance

• Prepare annual and semi-annual balance sheets and financial statements

• Examine accounting records, process and interpret financial data and prepare reports

• Contribute to process and system improvement
