We’re hiring a Data Management Specialist in Bucharest to join our Presales team. You’ll lead client POCs—designing, executing, and showcasing high‑impact environments that prove our spend classification and supplier parenting capabilities. As a Data Management Specialist, you will:
- Support multiple proofs of concept (POCs) and data cube initiatives, contributing to high-quality deliverables that enable presales and client success.
- Deliver accurate spend classification and supplier consolidation services according to defined quality and SLA targets.
- Proactively identify and resolve data-related issues, collaborating with teammates, the presales team, and software development as needed.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to prioritize tasks based on presales objectives and timelines.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of our software, processes, and tooling to increase the speed and quality of handling and classifying spend data.
- Challenge the status quo constructively by raising ideas, asking questions, and sharing feedback to drive team and product improvement.
What typically gives a good starting point for a Data Management Specialist?
- Interest in supporting presales activities and internal teams with data-related tasks
- Independent working style with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with SQL: able to read scripts, understand their purpose, and write simple queries
- Ability to learn new software, data tools, and technologies quickly
- Clear, concise communication skills for coordinating with internal stakeholders (e.g., presales, product, engineering)
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
Bonus that will make your learning curve smoother
- Experience with master data management
- Understanding of Procurement/Finance
- Basic understanding of data visualization tools is an advantage

This is a full-time, entry-level, position that provides a great starting point for your career in Sievo. The salary for this position ranges from 4000 to 4500 RON/net per month. This is a hybrid role, and candidate is expected to be based in Bucharest.
