Adecco is looking for an Experienced Accounting Professional to join our client’s Finance Center of Excellence in Bucharest — a global organization operating in the insurance and financial services sector.
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance;
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and general ledger functions;
- Experience in the insurance industry and exposure to transformation or rollout programs;
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
- Fluent in English, with an international mindset.
- Familiarity with SAP GL, Tagetik, or similar tools;
- Experience in a Big 4 firm;
- Knowledge of Italian is a plus.
- Lead and oversee quarterly closing and reporting processes;
- Define and update the group financial data model (chart of accounts, accounting manual, hierarchies, validations);
- Supervise the preparation and analysis of financial statements in compliance with IFRS;
- Collaborate with auditors and provide technical accounting expertise;
- Manage and drive finance transformation and system implementation projects;
- Mentor and support junior accounting professionals.
