What will you be doing as a Field Trader

The core focus of this role is the Origination of oilseeds and grains in respective area of responsibilities, maintaining relationships with the suppliers (farmers, integrators, traders), identify new suppliers, maintain the database.

This should be completed through the following activities:

Responsibilities:

·        Achieving targeted origination volumes and executing daily origination plans in line with the business plan.

·        Developing and maintaining supplier and customer portfolios while identifying new business opportunities across the agricultural value chain.

·        Negotiating and concluding contracts while supporting execution activities throughout the contract lifecycle.

·        Managing customer exposure and mitigating credit and default risks in collaboration with legal and commercial stakeholders.

·        Monitoring agricultural market trends, supply and demand dynamics, pricing and crop conditions while preparing regional market reports.

·        Identifying logistics opportunities, supporting pilot projects and coordinating with trading, logistics and administrative teams to optimize commercial performance.

What you can bring to the role:

·       knowledge: agri-business related knowledge, products specifications and quality, logistics

·       driver license (at least 2 years’ experience)

·       5-6 years’ experience in a similar position inside the company or in agri origination

·       good negotiation skills

·       teamwork, persevering, versatile, entrepreneurship, responsible, organized in carrying out tasks, devoted, serious, ambitious

·       suppliers’ management, farmers and silo providers
