Job Description:This Business Area Architecture and Networking Solutions develops modules and end-to-end systems for connected mobility along the strategic elements “Network. Inform. Integrate.”, i.e. hardware development and validation. By providing solutions for networking, human-machine interaction, system integration and door control unit for cars, commercial vehicles and fleets, Vehicle Networking and Information ensures functioning networks and a smooth flow of information for connected mobility.
Do you want to be a Hardware Intern for ANS? These should spark your interest:
- Contributing in designing, calculation, simulation, software - hardware interface and documentation of electrical modules and schematics for embedded systems according to product specification and defined processes;
- Contributing in the development of test tools;
- Creating and optimizing the layout designs for low-medium complexity projects;
- Following the required guidelines and processes (design, EMC and manufacturing);
- Offering support in creating/modifying of schematic;
- Creating test specifications and executing electrical testing and validation according to defined requirements and specifications;
- Creating the hardware inputs for Production Test Specification;
- Creating test specifications and executing electrical testing and validation according to defined requirements and specifications;
- Understanding the EMC test specification and contributing to test execution;
- Understanding the requirements for embedded systems;
- Understanding the architecture of embedded systems.
A mentor will support you to gradually take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization.
Qualifications:You can be a perfect match to our team if you:
- Are an active student pursuing a university degree in a relevant field (i.e. Electronics, Automatics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering);
- Have knowledge of analog/digital electronic design;
- Know software tools for hardware design (schematic, calculation, PCB design tools and simulation tools);
- Have knowledge of embedded systems architecture;
- Are familiar with relevant EMC;
- Are familiar with PCB design guidelines;
- Are familiar with PCB manufacturing and assembly processes;
- Good English skills, both written and spoken;
- Professional experience is a plus but not mandatory.
