The ICT Project Manager – Manufacturing will join the central Group ICT organization and play a key role in a multi-year Digital Transformation Program aimed at designing, implementing, and rolling out a new Digital Factory model across manufacturing operations.
The role sits within the ICT Solutions organization, focused on Industrial & Operations Technologies, and requires a strong balance of technology expertise and business process understanding. The successful candidate will lead complex ICT initiatives in the manufacturing domain, working closely with business stakeholders, ICT teams, and external partners.
Education & Experience
- University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields linked to Manufacturing or Supply Chain
- 3+ years of experience as an ICT Project Manager in multinational environments
- Strong understanding of Manufacturing and Supply Chain processes, including:
- Manufacturing & industrialization
- Planning & logistics
- Quality
- Knowledge of WCM, Lean Manufacturing, or similar methodologies is highly desirable
Technical Skills
- Solid hands-on experience with MES/MOM and factory applications, such as:
- Rockwell Plex
- Dassault Delmia Apriso
- Kepware
- Prometeo
- Proven experience integrating OT and IT systems, including:
- Machines, sensors, PLCs ↔ MES, ERP, Cloud platforms
- Protocols and technologies: OPC UA, MQTT, REST APIs, SCADA
- Familiarity with:
- Telecommunications networks and infrastructure services
- Cybersecurity concepts in industrial environments
- SAP (integration and manufacturing modules)
Soft Skills & Certifications
- Pragmatic, entrepreneurial mindset with strong leadership and ownership
- Demonstrated ability to lead change and motivate teams in complex project environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- PMI and/or PRINCE2 certification is a plus
Languages & Mobility
- Fluent English (mandatory)
- Good command of Italian
- Willingness to travel as required
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Act as ICT Project Leader for assigned manufacturing initiatives, including:
- Standardization of manufacturing applications and processes
- Implementation and rollout of the Digital Factory model
- Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment and stabilization
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams, including internal resources and external suppliers
- Monitor and control project scope, timeline, budget, and risks, including management of Change Requests (CRs)
Stakeholder & Demand Management
- Support the ICT Manufacturing Lead in managing and prioritizing ICT demand from manufacturing functions
- Interface with:
- Business Process Owners
- Business Project Managers
- Key and End Users
- Central ICT and HQ teams
- Translate business requirements into viable ICT solutions and evaluate implementation options
Technology & Operations Oversight
- Oversee and guide ICT Specialists’ activities within the manufacturing domain
- Ensure service availability, performance, and reliability in collaboration with:
- Help Desk teams
- Infrastructure and Architecture teams (Infrastructure & TLC)
- External technology providers
- Ensure alignment with ICT architecture, security, and governance standards
