The Opportunity
We offer a one-year, full-time, and paid internship, giving you time to dive into the OpenText culture and vision, to learn from our senior colleagues, to have fun and to discover our self-managed communities of IT experts.
Your Impact
In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn how to use our internal project management systems (Agile/Scrum methodologies) and to gain real experience as a programmer in a global company focused on quality, innovative vision, and always stay up to date with the latest industry requirements.
You will learn to design, discuss, clarify, and implement project requirements and to develop your programming skills.
What the role offers
As a Software Engineer intern at OpenText you will be part of an international and Agile team working on the leading performance engineering solution with a direct impact on the customers’ experience by developing and enhancing the web interface together with the backend responsible for managing their entire load-testing infrastructure. You will be gaining knowledge around the entire .NET ecosystem, Angular front-end development, REST APIs, deployment and communication of enterprise level applications as well as end-to-end application lifecycle management.
What you need to succeed

- Relevant studies with a focus and passion on computer science, IT, engineering, and technology;
- Knowledge/desire to mainly work with the following technologies: .NET, Angular;
- Good knowledge of algorithms;
- General knowledge about Object Oriented Programming (theoretical concepts);
- Analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset;
- Effective written and oral communication skills in English;
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Additional skills are a plus
- Experience / knowledge of the .NET ecosystem;
- Experience with web development;
- Frontend experience with JavaScript / Angular;

- .NET Framework 4.8;
- EntityFramwork Core for working with the supported database servers.
