Job Description:The position holder will be an IT architect supporting the development and operations team of our upcoming service portfolio around AI & data engineering services.
Your responsibility in this position will be to set up and manage the environments for AI & data engineering applications. Additionally, you will implement improvements and respond to incidents in an agile environment. You will coordinate your work together with the service owner and the service team to ensure reliable service delivery to our internal customers within central functions and the Automotive business areas.
Furthermore, you will consult customers on efficient usage of the provided services, contribute improvement suggestions and implement them to establish technically reliable solutions that are standardized across all business areas.
Your key responsibilities are:
• Implementation and operation of cloud-native technologies
- Using services from major cloud providers and internal platform services
- Writing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
• Continuous improvement and maintenance of the provided solutions for AI & data engineering
• Collaboration with central functions and business areas to establish standardized solutions
• Contributing globally to the development of solutions to support AI & data engineering
• Supporting incident management (3rd level support)
• Consulting customers on efficient usage of the provided services.
Qualifications:Academic degree in computer science, engineering, or an equivalent qualification
• Minimum of three years of experience designing cloud-native IT applications
• Working knowledge of software development methodologies
• Experience with cloud services and cloud-native technologies (especially AWS)
• Experience with container technologies (Docker and Kubernetes)
• Software development experience with Python
• Experience with Terraform, Packer and Vault are considered a plus
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence is considered a plus
• Fluent English language skills (spoken and written)
• Intercultural sensitivity.
