We are seeking an experienced and driven IT Project Manager to join our Project Management Hub. In this role, you will be responsible for the successful end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring effective management of timelines, budgets, risks, documentation, global rollouts, and resources.
You are also expected to engage global stakeholders and ensure robust governance throughout the project lifecycle.
Main objective of the job:
- Manage project level 2 -B category;
Main attributions and responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements, review possibilities for realization and derive specific IT-requirements. In case of interdisciplinary projects, this is done across various focal topics and knowledge areas;
- Review requirements specifications (customer and IT), add upon, if necessary, and align with customer/ stakeholders;
- Create detailed project plan, covering all areas (e.g.: target cross, timeline, resources, costs, etc.) and agree upon it with Project Sponsor;
- Identify and contract internal resources from the delivery units;
- Select suppliers, request quotations, review and contract, as well as steer the suppliers;
- Track and review Project status (e.g. Deliverables, dates) regularly; in case of deviations, decide upon mitigation measures;
- Ensure adherence to all economic goals and technological guidelines across all project areas. Document intermediate results and provide reports;
- Steer and monitor delivering units;
- Professionally deal with and solve issues, take corrective measures with regards to economical targets and principles;
- Prepare and conduct steering committee meetings, include participation of executives if required;
- Coordinate suppliers, monitor their performance, review invoices and authorize payments;
- Create and regularly maintain all relevant project documentations;
- Removing impediments and ensuring the smooth functioning of an Agile team;
- Coordinate teams in implementing changes effectively;
- Reads, understands, and applies the procedures from area of responsibility and other interdepartmental procedures, applicable within the company.
Studies:
- University Diploma: Studies in Informatics, Business Administration or comparable;
- High school Diploma;
Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience: minimum 5 years of leading international, multi-cultural IT projects with high complexity;
- Proven track record of successfully implementing large scale IT projects (preferred domains, but not limited to: Software development, SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Mergers & Acquisitions, large migrations/transitions);
- Methods: broad experience in project management, state-of-the-art processes and tools (phase oriented and agile methodologies). PMI certification is a plus;
- Language: English proficient;
- Self-driven;
- Strong communication skills;
- Solid negation skills;
- Solution oriented.
