Responsibilities
- Leadership & People Development: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers, guiding them through technical challenges, career development, and continuous learning.
- Technical Excellence: Partner with architects and senior developers to define best practices, ensure clean code, and maintain high standards for reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Delivery Ownership: Ensure the successful delivery of projects across teams by fostering agile ways of working (SCRUM/KANBAN), managing priorities, and removing blockers.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and other Engineering Leaders to define product roadmaps and translate business goals into impactful technical solutions.
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Encourage experimentation and innovation through regular “Innovation Time” and contribute to building a culture of technical curiosity and excellence.
- Strategic Contribution: Play a key role in shaping the local engineering culture and aligning technical efforts with broader business and product goals.
Required Qualifications:
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in software development, including 3+ years in a technical leadership or management role
- Strong hands-on experience with modern web technologies and cloud architectures (e.g., Kotlin, Java, TypeScript, GCP)
- Proven track record in leading agile teams and delivering complex, scalable web applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — you inspire trust, clarity, and motivation in your team
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
