We are looking for a driven, customer-oriented, and analytical Junior Key Account Manager to join our Adhesive Technologies team in Bucharest. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with key retail customers, contribute to the development and execution of sales strategies, and support business growth through excellent customer partnerships.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Customer Service, Logistics, Finance, and Category Management while developing valuable commercial, negotiation, and analytical skills in an international environment.
What you´ll do:
- Support the achievement of turnover, profitability, market share, and KPI targets for assigned customers
- Contribute to the development and implementation of customer-specific business plans and growth strategies
- Participate in sales planning and forecasting activities, including turnover, market share, and promotional planning
- Create and maintain customer account plans and activity calendars
- Identify new business opportunities and recommend actions to drive sustainable growth
- Analyze customer performance, sales data, market trends, and competitor activities
- Support the preparation and execution of annual customer negotiations
- Present new products, concepts, and promotional initiatives to customers and support listing processes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, including buyers and category managers
- Coordinate and align customer activities with internal departments to ensure effective execution
- Monitor sales fundamentals, including distribution, shelf presence, pricing, merchandising, and promotional execution
- Conduct regular store visits to identify opportunities and improve in-store performance
- Prepare performance analyses, including Plan vs. Actual reviews, and propose corrective actions when needed
- Support sales forecasting, stock monitoring, and customer-related reporting activities
- Collaborate closely with Category Management on customer-focused projects and initiatives
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects and best practice implementation across key account activities
What makes you a good fit:
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
- Initial experience in sales, account management, trade marketing, or commercial functions is considered an advantage
- Advanced English skills, both written and spoken
- Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Valid driving license
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into business
