We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Automation Tester with expertise in Java to join our Rewards Engine team.
You will ensure the meticulous automated testing of our Knox payment platform, which powers payment flows for our checkout processes, safeguarding reliability and performance. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality systems, we invite you to apply and lead our automation efforts.
Responsibilities
- Design automated test plans and scripts for the Knox payment platform
- Develop automation frameworks using Java for backend systems
- Execute and maintain Kotlin-based test automation for the Knox platform
- Perform API, database, and event testing to validate backend service integrity
- Define test strategies in collaboration with development teams
- Analyze and report test results to drive product quality improvements
- Implement and maintain performance testing for backend components
- Enhance QA processes and methodologies across the project
- Document procedures and outcomes for all test activities
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Java automated testing
- Proven leadership in test automation initiatives
- Project experience in backend system QA and API validation
- Proficiency with tools such as Postman and REST-assured
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
- Upper-Intermediate English language proficiency (B2)
Nice to have
- Experience in payments domain development
- Kotlin-based test automation expertise
- Familiarity with event messaging systems such as Kafka
- Knowledge of QA for embedded systems
