We are seeking a skilled Lead DevOps Engineer to guide our team in implementing and managing innovative End User Computing (EUC) and virtual desktop solutions. This role focuses on driving advancements, optimizing performance, and upholding security standards while fostering cross-team collaboration to deliver integrated results.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Citrix and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments to achieve high performance, security, and user satisfaction
- Monitor and maintain Citrix and AVD systems, addressing issues with connectivity, performance, and user access
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of AVD solutions with current infrastructure and applications
- Provide training and technical support to end users and IT personnel on Citrix and AVD platforms
- Create and update documentation for Citrix and AVD configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps
- Participate in resource planning and scaling to meet organizational requirements for AVD
- Ensure alignment with security standards and regulations across the Citrix and AVD environment
- Develop and promote best practices for deploying, configuring, and managing AVD solutions
- Design scripts and automate modules related to Azure services supporting AVD host infrastructure
- Stay informed about AVD advancements and industry trends to improve virtual desktop solutions
- Coordinate with vendors and third-party providers to enhance AVD offerings
- Resolve advanced technical challenges at the 3rd level of support when necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field is essential, with a Master’s degree considered advantageous
- Background in delivering and designing complex EUC solutions within international or multinational organizations for over 5 years
- At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
- Strong experience in EUC and Workspace projects, including large-scale Windows upgrades, transitions from on-prem to cloud ECUs, and migrations to Azure
- Expertise in EUC/Workspace platforms, including On-prem Active Directory/Azure Active Directory, Networking platforms, Imaging, Packaging, Intune, SCCM, Workspace One/AirWatch, with a significant emphasis on Azure Virtual Desktop and Citrix
- Proficiency in DevSecOps tools and technologies, including GitHub, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and tools, such as Jira and Scrum
- Competency in tackling advanced technical challenges at the 3rd level of project support
- Strong communication skills for effectively interacting across all levels
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Team-oriented with a proactive approach to tasks
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Flexibility to operate effectively in diverse cultural and professional settings
- Excellent command of written and spoken English at a B2+ level or higher
