We are seeking a skilled Lead Java Developer to join our team focused on enterprise applications using Java and J2EE technologies.
You will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of solutions following best practices and modern methodologies. This role requires expertise in Java 8, Spring Boot, and building RESTful services within a microservice architecture. Your work will involve collaboration with product owners and team members to deliver high-quality features. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members and product owners to define and communicate technical solutions
- Design and develop features and solutions based on project requirements
- Coordinate with project teams to identify and resolve issues efficiently
- Produce high-quality code following best practices and design patterns
- Implement token-based security mechanisms such as JWT
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs within a microservice architecture
- Stay current with innovations and trends in web development
- Contribute to Agile development processes and ceremonies
- Support continuous integration and deployment pipelines
Requirements
- Extensive experience with Java 8 and Java/J2EE technologies, with 5+ years in backend development
- Proficiency in spring boot and spring core frameworks
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful services and microservice architectures
- Familiarity with token-based security implementation such as JWT
- Knowledge of MySQL database technology and query optimization
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies
- Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is beneficial
- Competency in continuous integration and deployment using tools like Jenkins
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, IT, or related field
- English proficiency at professional working level
Nice to have
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline design and management
- Background in cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services
