YOUR IMPACT
A Lead QA Engineer role at OpenText is more than just a job—it's an opportunity to shape the future of software quality. You will be a key contributor to OpenText Functional Testing FTE, which is a core product within the OpenText ValueEdge (VE) value-stream platform. You will lead testing initiatives that ensure our cloud-based solutions meet the highest standards.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
Designing and executing test plans (manual + automated)
Enhancing automation frameworks, especially for cloud-based testing
Using modern tools and technologies like AWS, AI, Java
Performing various types of testing: exploratory, regression, performance
Reporting and collaborating on defects with developers
Guiding and supporting junior QA engineers
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
University degree in an IT-related field
6+ years of experience in QA, strong in both manual and automation testing
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#)
Experience in public cloud, CI/CD and agile methodologies
System-level thinking and integration awareness
Debugging and troubleshooting skills
