About the Role:
Our mission is to make all of our customers’ security-relevant data continuously available for automated detection and response, threat hunting, and other Falcon use cases. To enable this, the systems behind NG-SIEM (next generation security information and event management) are growing to accommodate >100 PB of event and action data ingested every day, up to 10 years of retention, and dozens of millions of queries per hour across large sections of the data stored.
CrowdStrike is seeking an Manager, Engineering for the NG-SIEM product group working on the LogScale Platform. This is a critical role in the organization, responsible for driving the operations team as they build towards a zero-touch, highly refined, automated and self-service model in this space.
You will be instrumental in the hiring, retaining and growth of our world class engineers. You will work cross functionally with your peers in the engineering organization as well as leaders in sales and product.
NOTE: This role is open to candidates in Romania only.

What You'll Need:
5+ years of experience architecting, designing, and developing distributed system platform software products, preferably in a hyper-scale cloud environment, across all phases of the development lifecycle;
3+ years of experience managing teams of 6+ individual contributors reporting to you and delivering multiple major milestones of products. Demonstrated track record of building strong engineering teams;
Successful track record of scaling up large SaaS-type offerings (e.g., to >500k CPU cores).
Solid design and problem-solving skills with demonstrated passion for engineering excellence, quality, security and performance.
Demonstrated track record of operational excellence when operating services that span many components across several geographical regions;
Shown capability to solve complex scenarios of integrating multiple systems and services that are operating 24/7.
History of positive impact on customer experience and business results;
Experience working with remote teams across geographies and cultures;
Ability to communicate and articulate crisply at all levels from executive staff to individual contributors.
Bonus Points:
Successful track record of scaling up large SaaS-type offerings to >1M CPU cores while increasing resilience and reducing unit costs.
Solid grounding in the technology of at least one cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP);
Experience with hybrid cloud environments;
Exposure to/experience with cybersecurity and intelligence;
Machine learning and data science familiarity and hands-on experience.
