We are seeking an experienced Marketing Cloud Business Analysis Team Lead to guide and empower a team of Business Analysts in delivering impactful solutions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
This role bridges business needs with technical execution, ensuring the successful delivery of data-driven marketing projects aligned with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate is a skilled leader with expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, a strategic thinker with a passion for process improvement, and an advocate for collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of Marketing Cloud Business Analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
- Allocate workloads, provide regular coaching and career development support, and manage performance reviews
- Promote a culture of knowledge sharing and upskilling within the team
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to align BA team priorities with overall marketing and business objectives
- Contribute to the planning and delivery roadmaps for Marketing Cloud projects and ensure alignment with stakeholders
- Champion business analysis best practices and standardization across projects
- Review and validate requirements, user stories, workflows, and documentation for consistency and technical viability
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure effective backlog management for Marketing Cloud projects
- Define and maintain documentation templates, guidelines, and frameworks for the team
- Serve as a senior escalation point for complex requirements and stakeholder challenges
- Represent the BA team in strategic discussions, cross-departmental initiatives, and executive-level updates
- Ensure transparent communication and alignment between Marketing, CRM, Data, and Technology teams
- Identify opportunities to enhance analysis and delivery processes, implementing improvements for better efficiency and quality
- Stay updated on Salesforce Marketing Cloud innovations, digital marketing trends, and customer data platforms
- Drive adoption of new tools, technologies, and methods to elevate the team’s capabilities
Requirements
- 2+ years in a leadership role, such as team lead or senior analyst, within marketing technology or digital transformation environments
- Strong functional knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, and data model components
- Ability to interpret business goals and translate them into actionable technical requirements and delivery plans
- Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud, customer data platforms, and API integrations
- Proficiency in requirements gathering, process mapping, user story creation, and backlog management within Agile frameworks
- Understanding of data modeling, relational databases, and tools like SQL for Marketing Cloud applications
- Proven ability to engage and align diverse stakeholder groups, from technical teams to business executives
- Background in delivering cross-functional marketing projects involving various teams and technologies

- Showcase of expertise in additional Salesforce tools, such as Interaction Studio, Einstein, or Audience Studio
- Familiarity with other marketing platforms like Adobe or Oracle Marketing Cloud
