We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Marketing Cloud Team Lead to drive the success and maturity of our agile Marketing team.
As a key figure in the Customer Engagement domain, you will lead and oversee the development of innovative solutions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud and related technologies, ensuring strategic alignment while building impactful solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development team of five, including mentoring team members and managing performance
- Act as the primary client-facing lead for updates on development progress and deliverables
- Collaborate with the BA Lead for refining user stories and with the Test Lead for resolving testing concerns
- Contribute directly to development efforts, offering hands-on expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Enhance team operational capacity by driving DevOps alignment and implementing best practices around CI/CD
- Resolve production environment issues through detailed root cause analysis (RCA) and propose actionable improvements
- Spearhead innovation projects such as onboarding new countries or introducing novel Salesforce Marketing Cloud features
- Drive technical maturity of the platform through incremental updates and scalable enhancements
- Ensure integration frameworks align seamlessly with enterprise systems such as Mulesoft or Salesforce Service Cloud
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, AMPscript, and Integration Platforms
- Knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud and its role within marketing integrations
- Background in applying Integration Frameworks across business applications
- Proficiency in implementing DevOps practices and crafting scalable CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of issue resolution techniques, including RCA and production environment restoration
- Expertise in leading Agile teams, interfacing with cross-functional stakeholders, and driving collaborative team alignment
- Competency in working with Salesforce Service Cloud to enhance customer marketing solutions
Nice to have
- Familiarity with MuleSoft and its ability to streamline integrations
- Showcase of leveraging SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris Commerce) in customer engagement projects
- Flexibility to use Salesforce platform tools in creating end-to-end marketing and service enhancements
