For our business partner, one of the largest integrators of IT and physical security solutions for national and European critical infrastructure, we are seeking a PL/SQL Developer to join their on-site team in Bucharest on a full-time basis.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing scripts and PL/SQL packages that power core applications. A strong understanding of Oracle environments is essential, and solid working knowledge of Oracle APEX is a must. Your technical expertise will directly contribute to improving the functionality and efficiency of our database solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages.
- Collaborate with other developers and project managers to understand business requirements and translate them into database solutions.
- Lead thorough testing and debugging of PL/SQL scripts to ensure robust applications.
- Monitor and optimize database performance through efficient schema design and indexing strategies.
- Assists in database design and suggests improvements to existing databases.
- Provides support and maintenance for existing applications
- Document changes made under internal standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a PL/SQL Developer;
- Proven ability to write efficient and complex database queries and scripts
- Experience with Oracle database technologies and tools
- Knowledge of Oracle APEX is highly desired
- Critical and analytical thinking
- Focus on finding solutions and achieving the established result
- Team player with good verbal and written communication skills
