What the role offers
* Delivering Projects through use of Project management methodologies.
* Communicating on a day-to-day basis at all levels, with client, management and technical resources and other team members.
* Acting as the go to person for any queries and ensures consistency of approach and process.
* Providing leadership to the team on best practices, reviewing project team deliverables for consistency.
* Providing day to day leadership for a team of project managers located in Northern region, primarily UK & Nordics, including hiring, performance appraisals and goal setting as well as leadership and coaching as needed.
What you need to succeed
* Leadership qualities including developing staff, communicating vision and inspiring teams.
* Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build rapport and credibility quickly.
* Excellent judgment, Project Management / Business knowledge with a keen ability to assess people, processes and products.
* Experience of delivering projects on time, to budget and within required tolerances.
* Ability to provide accurate capacity forecasts against individual projects and resources.
