We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Product Owner to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving the development and innovation of our products.
The ideal candidate will serve as the voice of the customer, collaborating closely with the Scrum Master, development teams, and stakeholders to maximize business value and deliver impactful solutions.
Responsibilities
- Define, prioritize, and manage the product backlog in collaboration with stakeholders
- Oversee the development and execution of product roadmaps to achieve business objectives
- Ensure alignment between technical teams and business goals by providing clear requirements
- Facilitate planning and review sessions with scrum teams and provide leadership throughout delivery
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear and transparent communication
- Identify and address product risks, impediments, and dependencies in a timely manner
- Lead functional analysis and refinement for features that require small to medium adjustments
- Oversee and contribute to steering committees, providing updates on project or feature progress
- Ensure adherence to methodologies, standards, guidelines, and best practices for product development
- Monitor product performance and provide insights for continuous improvement
- Serve as the subject matter expert for assigned value streams, fostering a collaborative environment
- Travel to various BeCSE countries as needed, including Belgium, Greece, Romania, Czech Republic, Serbia
Requirements
- Mandatory prior experience of 5-10 years in a related field with a proven track record in agile or hybrid environments
- Background in Scrum Master or Product Owner roles with strong project management skills
- Expertise in delivering reporting and data science projects using Modern Cloud Data Platforms or traditional Data Warehouse solutions
- Skills in escalation management, process optimization, and IT-business systems requirement definition
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, with knowledge of French, Dutch, Greek, Romanian, Serbian, or Czech being an asset
Nice to have
- Background in implementing enterprise-level Retail, Marketing, or Customer Loyalty solutions
- Familiarity with delivering projects using Hybrid On-prem and PaaS/SaaS technologies
- Previous experience as a Functional or Business Analyst
