What the role offers
Design and execute comprehensive test cases for mobile applications on iOS and Android to ensure high-quality releases aligned with user expectations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and designers to clarify requirements and maximize test coverage.
Identify and document defects in the tracking system, helping improve product stability and user satisfaction.
Perform various testing types such as functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, and usability testing to detect issues early and ensure a seamless user experience.
Contribute to mobile test automation efforts using tools like Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest to increase testing efficiency and speed up delivery.
Execute tests across real devices and simulators/emulators using platforms like Firebase Test Lab or BrowserStack to mimic real-world conditions and ensure broad device compatibility.
Continuously refine and optimize test cases by reviewing legacy scenarios and making improvements to boost test efficiency and relevance.
Participate in Agile meetings such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and reviews to stay aligned with development cycles and project goals.
What you need to succeed
Experience in QA with a focus on testing native mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms
Proficient in executing tests using tools like Appium, Espresso, XCUITest or Charles Proxy
Comfortable working in Agile environments, such as Scrum or Kanban teams
Familiar with issue tracking and test management tools
Basic understanding of version control systems, particularly Git
Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
