We are “GDELS” - a Europe based business unit of General Dynamics Corporation, with products range from wheeled armored and tracked combat vehicles to amphibious bridges and ferry systems, with people all around the world relying on these systems and services – and we welcome you as Quality Inspector, located in Bucharest!
To perform daily tasks, it is important that:
* you are able to identify specific problems and propose solutions
* you are able to follow the standards and regulations
* you take feedback into account and work with other people in order to get the results
* you have at least bachelor’s degree in quality, Industrial Engineering & Environmental Protection
* you have good communication skills in English and Romanian language; German is a plus
* you have good IT skills (MS office, SAP)
There is a great advantage if:
* you have at least 10 years professional experience in Quality Management or similar areas
* you have very good knowledge of protected vehicles
* you have previous experience as team-leader
Here are your most important tasks, among others:
1/ Developing, implementing and maintaining processes relating to quality management
2/ Final inspection of products
3/ Supervision of production staff regarding quality assurance tasks
4/ Performance of quality audits in the production line
5/ Recording and resolving of deviations during the production process
6/ Improvement of processes
7/ Preparation and verification of quality documents related to programs activities
8/ Preparation and execution of acceptance tests (internal and with customer / GQAR)
9/ Checking compliance with safety regulations and standards in all workplaces, conducting entry and continuous staff trainings in occupational health and safety
10/ Cooperating with government authorities in the investigation of accidents at work and writing protocols
