We are seeking a Senior Application Support Engineer to drive the administration, management and support of technical systems critical to our operational and decision-making processes.
This role collaborates closely with technical and functional teams, ensuring the reliability and continuous improvement of our information systems in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, configure, deploy and plan changes for products
- Provide technical expertise, guidance and strategic recommendations to develop a roadmap aligned with business needs and strategic objectives while ensuring compliance with customer standards
- Troubleshoot issues and participate in multi-discipline war rooms to resolve customer incidents as an L2 or L3 expert when required
- Provide 24/7 on-call L2/L3 support for production applications and services on a weekly rotating basis
- Support IT Functional teams with development of processes to meet business needs
- Ensure adequate controls and reports are available to comply with regulators and global governance
- Ensure compliance with IT technical policies and standards
- Deliver evidence as required to maintain ICS controls
- Share and train peers on domain expertise
- Contribute to the improvement of operating procedures and integration of new systems within deadlines and technical constraints
- Collaborate with Squads and Solution Owners across technical and functional departments
Requirements
- 4–6+ years of experience supporting IT production systems
- Fluent in English (written spoken)
- Expertise with administration support and troubleshooting of enterprise applications
- Knowledge of operating systems (Linux Windows) and networking (DNS routing)
- Background in application servers and databases (Tomcat nginx Oracle Sybase)
- Familiarity with authentication services Azure and containerization technologies (Kubernetes AKS ACA)
- Skills in Azure Service Bus (ASB) and DataBricks
- Hands-on experience with monitoring patching backup process automation disaster recovery high availability
- Cloud and security expertise desirable
- Observability experience desirable
