We are looking for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to join our application team supporting the real-time licence management system.
This role focuses on enhancing automation, reliability, and scalability following the platform's migration to Microsoft Azure. You will combine hands-on engineering with leadership to optimize build and release processes and foster collaboration between development and operations. Please note that working from the customer's office in Bucharest is required 3 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Design and manage scalable CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Lead initiatives to improve build automation, testing integration, and deployment efficiency
- Enhance infrastructure-as-code templates with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM
- Maintain high availability, security, and compliance across Azure environments
- Collaborate with development and architecture teams to establish DevOps best practices
- Identify and resolve issues in builds, releases, and environments proactively
- Mentor junior DevOps engineers and support process improvement efforts
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps, build engineering, or cloud operations
- Expertise in Azure DevOps services, including Repos, Pipelines, and Artifacts
- Skills in scripting and automation with PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Groovy
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM
- Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud networking concepts
- Experience incorporating security and compliance into CI/CD workflows (DevSecOps)
- Strong communication skills for leading cross-functional technical discussions
- Upper-intermediate proficiency in English (B2+)
Nice to have
- Experience with Kafka and event-driven or real-time data processing systems
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or Jenkins
- Background in financial services or regulated enterprise environments
