The organization is currently undergoing a digital transformation and is seeking a skilled Senior Consultant – Job Scheduling to support enterprise-wide automation initiatives. We are looking for a Senior Consultant with strong expertise in job scheduling and automation to support projects focused on automating batch processes and integrating critical systems (SAP, Cloud, BI). The role involves the design, implementation, operation, and optimization of automated workflows using RunMyJob (Redwood) or Control-M (BI&C).
The ideal candidate has a solid technical background, a strong focus on process optimization, and proven experience working with enterprise-level systems.

He is responsible for both the automation and SAP integration aspects, including integrating new Cloud and SAP systems into the job scheduling landscape. This is a senior-level role, and the position is a consulting role.
Tech background:
• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in designing and implementing IT system landscapes and automation solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of system administration (Windows, Linux, AIX) and job scheduling systems.
• Extensive knowledge in the use and administration of Redwood RunMyJob as well as alternative tools such as BMC Control-M for planning, controlling, and monitoring automated IT processes.
• Strong programming and scripting skills in at least one language (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Java).
• Excellent analytical skills, strategic thinking, and a solution-oriented approach.
• Strong communication skills and experience in consulting and stakeholder management.
• Preferred: Experience in project management or leading sub-projects.
• Take ownership of the strategic development of the system landscape for automated background processing of IT workflows.
• Provide consulting and design expertise for integrating new system components into complex IT environments (e.g., SAP systems, cloud platforms).
• Design and implement enterprise-wide automated background processes in close collaboration with business and IT departments.
• Lead functional and performance testing as well as quality assurance for new system configurations.
• Ensure stable operations through monitoring solutions, incident and problem analysis, and resolution—including escalation management.
• Act as a mentor for junior engineers and facilitate knowledge transfer within the team.
• Advise business units on best practices and optimization opportunities in job scheduling and
