This role is responsible for managing and analyzing workforce and other operational data to support strategic decision-making and process optimization. In this role, you would be involved in maintaining accurate data models, validating changes across reporting periods, and producing scheduled and ad-hoc reports. It requires strong stakeholders' engagement to ensure alignment and follow-through on action items, and contributing to process improvement initiatives, including automation and data security enhancements. Advanced data analysis and reporting capabilities, the ability to work effectively across cross-functional not collocated teams, and familiarity with Agile, Lean, and / or Six Sigma methodologies is desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Maintain and update local Data Model for accuracy including Cost Center and Line Management alignment. This includes weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reconciliations and the sources range from flat file to Power BI reports.
- Validate changes including interpreting results from one reporting period to another and explain the difference e.g. number of hires, exits, change key parameters, etc
- Generate scheduled and ad-hoc reports for planning and strategic decisions
- Stakeholders Collaboration:
- Collects, tracks and follows up on post meeting actions, driving strong interlock with stakeholders.
- Process Improvements:
- Test and provide feedback on process flows pertaining to our team’s operations.
- Recommend and lead on improvements on data security and automation efficiencies.
- Potential to assist with process improvement projects as assigned by senior members of the team, ideally being familiar with Agile, Lean, and /or Six Sigma approaches including developing performance indicators for collecting, analyzing and reporting effectiveness and iterating to improve effectiveness when required.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Intermediate to Advance Excel skills, e.g. pivots, lookups, performance optimization, VBA, Power Query, dashboards creation. Strong understanding of data models to support the team in the need to efficiently collect, clean, analyze, distribute, and report on data.
- Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams of which some members are not collocated.
- Ability to manage complex categorization rules and documentation processes.
- Works effectively with others and adapts ways of working to achieve a common goal.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Lean, and/or SDLC).
- Proficiency in Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Python, SQL are a plus.
- Working to intermediate knowledge of Asana and Atlassian JIRA, e.g. ability to write JQL, build dashboards, work on workflows).
- Familiarity with Financial Markets / Banking industry.
