We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Quality Engineer to drive our data governance initiatives by developing innovative, scalable solutions.
This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining data quality frameworks, with an emphasis on advanced automation and collaboration across business and technical teams to ensure enterprise-grade data reliability.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement detection rules for patterns, anomalies, and inconsistencies in Ataccama and other platforms
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to identify and resolve data quality issues
- Automate data quality workflows using Ataccama and scripting
- Manage ETL/ELT pipelines leveraging tools like Azure Data Factory and SAP Data Intelligence
- Support cloud application solutions to enhance data governance initiatives
- Build and customize scalable data quality solutions that align with organizational goals
- Configure workflows to monitor the effectiveness of data quality processes
- Ensure compliance with governance frameworks through effective collaboration
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in data quality engineering or a related field
- Expertise in rule creation, validation, and automation using Ataccama workflows
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines including Azure Data Factory and SAP Data Intelligence
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving complex data quality challenges
- Knowledge of scripting for automated processes within Ataccama
- Background in handling enterprise data from large platforms like Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, or Azure SQL Database
- Familiarity with SAP integration points and understanding of related data structures
- Skills in using Power BI or Tableau to visualize data quality metrics effectively
- Competency in applying principles of data governance frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK
Nice to have
- Understanding of the Monitoring project usage within Ataccama DQC
- Exposure to machine learning techniques for predictive data quality insights
- Knowledge of advanced applications in SAP and Azure environments for seamless integration
- Flexibility to deploy insights-driven data quality analytics through innovative techniques
