We are seeking a Senior Network & Security Engineer specializing in Cisco and Fortinet technologies to ensure secure, reliable and high-performing enterprise network operations.
This role is responsible for managing and securing network infrastructure, including Cisco network access, wireless controllers and Fortinet FortiGate firewalls, while maintaining high availability and security compliance.
Responsibilities
- Ensure secure, reliable and optimized network operations across Cisco and Fortinet environments
- Configure, troubleshoot and maintain Cisco network access and Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC)
- Set up and manage Fortinet FortiGate firewalls, including VPNs and security policies
- Oversee VLAN, routing and switching fundamentals to support network integrity
- Participate in the evolution and integration of lifecycle management for network devices
- Collaborate with team members and virtual teams to deliver network solutions
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in network administration and security
- Proficiency in Cisco network access configuration and troubleshooting, Cisco Wireless LAN Controller setup and maintenance
- Skills in Fortinet FortiGate firewall configuration, VPN setup and security policy management
- Understanding of VLAN, routing and switching fundamentals
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice to have
- Background in medium or large international companies
- Experience in virtual teams
- Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM processes and tools, automation tools and network monitoring tools
- Familiarity with NAC & ISE solutions and wireless security standards
