What you'll own as the Senior Performance Test Analyst
We are seeking an experienced technical tester with a focus on performance. You will be responsible for the design, execution and analysis of performance testing across several Agile scrum teams with a focus of API and web performance testing. The individual should have the expertise to understand complex scenarios, identify performance bottlenecks, and work with engineering teams to tune and optimise new and existing solutions. You will be able to lead performance testing independently from gathering initial requirements to delivering the final report and communicating the results.
What you'll bring
Proven track record of performance testing of APIs, primarily XML, SOAP and JSON
Experience in performance testing and tuning of Java based applications
Performance test scripting and execution using JMeter
Cross platform browser functional testing (Selenium, Postman etc)
Experience in Unix/Linux and Shell scripting
Fundamentals of SQL, PL/SQL skills (Procedure, Package), and Database architecture.
Working knowledge of Apache Tomcat, Apache Httpd, Apache Maven
Experience of operating within an Agile Team (SAFe methodology preferable)
Good understanding of CI/CDe principles and tools e.g. Github, Jenkins , Splunk
Experience of the payments industry is preferable.
Confident communication and able to build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation and stakeholders
