We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Python Developer to join our team and take a leading role in improving our platform, ensuring seamless migrations, and addressing key operational challenges.
This position offers the opportunity to work closely with internal stakeholders while contributing to product improvements that enhance business processes and user experience.
Responsibilities
- Address migration issues, including missed steps, contract rollover problems, and event processing exceptions
- Collaborate with lifecycle marketing, IM, CSM, and other internal teams to resolve misconfigurations and streamline workflows
- Improve event queue processing speed, ensuring efficient and reliable performance
- Provide preventative reporting and handle on-call issues related to platform migration
- Manage and resolve issues related to incorrect file uploads from clients
- Support and enhance the existing Django Python framework-based REST API services
- Optimize and maintain the overall Django architecture to ease platform scalability and stability
- Tackle and resolve BBR tickets in a timely and efficient manner
- Offer comprehensive support for the eligibility processing on Django and related areas
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience in Python with a strong focus on Django
- Proficiency in developing and maintaining REST API services
- Background in resolving complex misconfigurations or migration-related challenges
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture and improving queue systems
- Expertise in troubleshooting and addressing platform issues related to file uploads or contract operations
Nice to have
- Background in TypeScript
- Understanding of hybrid Python-Typescript workflows
- Flexibility to contribute to frontend troubleshooting or enhancements where needed
