We're seeking a well-qualified Senior SAP HANA Developer to come join our team. In this role, you'll take charge of designing and sustaining advanced data models, pipelines, and backend frameworks that support demanding business processes and analytics across manufacturing, engineering, and operations contexts. Responsibilities
- Build out, develop, and optimize SAP HANA native models, covering Calculation Views, CDS Views, Stored Procedures, and SQLScript, to support backend data processing and aggregation work
- Develop and maintain strong ETL pipelines that manage the extraction, transformation, and loading of data from SAP and non-SAP sources, including SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and other third-party systems
- Work in partnership with cross-functional teams to design scalable data flows and architectures that enable solid analytics and operational reporting
- Design thorough data workflows while maintaining strong data quality and identifying and addressing discrepancies through consistent monitoring and troubleshooting
- Enhance business operations by delivering custom-tailored analytics, KPI tracking, and actionable insights powered by SAP HANA backend infrastructure
- Improve the speed and efficiency of data processing for large datasets and complex workflows by taking advantage of SAP HANA's in-memory database capabilities
- Collaborate on cross-team initiatives with engineers, business analysts, and solution architects to understand requirements and deliver customized, high-quality solutions
- Take an active part in Agile (SAFe) ceremonies, including sprints, planning sessions, and retrospectives, while delivering incremental value to stakeholders throughout
- Maintain clear documentation of technical best practices, workflows, and shared knowledge related to key SAP HANA solutions
Requirements
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline
- 3+ years of relevant experience in SAP HANA development or an equivalent SAP-focused role
- Strong proven capability in SAP HANA native modeling, with substantial hands-on exposure to Calculation Views, CDS Views, Procedures, and SQLScript
- Background in designing and maintaining ETL workflows and data pipelines, especially within SAP environments such as HANA
- Working familiarity with integrating SAP systems, including SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, or other legacy platforms, into data pipeline workflows
- Strong command of data performance optimization, database tuning, and ensuring scalability across large-scale datasets
- Skilled in applying Agile methodologies and using collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities, supported by a team-first mentality
- Upper-Intermediate English language competency (B2)
Nice to have
- Background in manufacturing or engineering industries, particularly in quality assurance or supply chain analytics
- Experience with SAP Datasphere, SAP Data Intelligence, or other modern SAP integration tools
