We are looking for a Senior Security Governance Analyst to join our Tech team, where you will ensure the consistent application of security standards, manage vulnerabilities, and coordinate compliance activities across multiple teams. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, a proactive approach to security management, and the ability to facilitate collaboration between technical and governance stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and perform repetitive tasks such as following up on vulnerabilities, tracking remediation plans and their state, reporting execution, and managing risk acceptance and delays
- Facilitate governance actions outside the security team, ensuring other departments follow required security processes
- Ensure strong communication with system owners and technical owners, verifying remediation plans are in place and managed according to deadlines, and providing regular reporting
- Monitor and verify consistent application of security standards across systems and applications
- Track, assess, and report on vulnerabilities, ensuring timely remediation and alignment on priority
- Prepare and deliver aggregated reports on security metrics to the Security Governance team and the CISO
- Develop, implement, and manage recurrent control programs using manual and automated technical controls
- Coordinate and communicate compliance requirements to relevant stakeholders
- Provide support and guidance to teams during mitigation and remediation planning
- Create and maintain inspection manuals
- Work with PowerBI for reporting and data visualization
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in IT or security-related roles
- Strong understanding of security standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST
- Background in IT, with experience managing large volumes of security issues and aligning on priorities
- Skills in communication, with the capability to coordinate across technical and governance teams
- Proficiency in PowerBI for reporting and analysis
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science or a related field
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CRISC
