Your impact
As a Senior Systems Administrator with the Lab Services Team at OpenText, you will be part of a global team of administrators responsible for the deployment, management, performance tuning, configuration, and troubleshooting of the computing infrastructure that powers the OpenText Cloud.
The ideal candidate will be a team player with previous experience managing a large physical and virtual compute environment and a sound understanding of the technologies we support.

What you need to succeed
- Consistent experience managing VMware on Cisco UCS Computing
- Excellent understanding of various Linux distributions (RHEL, Ubuntu, SLES, etc.)
- Practical experience with various hypervisors (ESXi, KVM, XEN, Hyper-V, ProxMox)
- Progressive hands-on experience as an individual contributor in technologies related to OpenStack of various flavors – Canonical, RedHat, Ansible, etc.
- Experience with various scripting technologies (PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, Python)
- Experience using AI to automate processes and reduce manual workload
- Network troubleshooting skills
- Ability to handle and prioritize workloads and work effectively in a time-critical environment
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
