We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior Test Automation Engineer with a strong Java background to join our driven team. You will focus on developing and maintaining automated testing solutions that enhance software quality and efficiency. The role involves working closely with development teams to implement and scale test automation frameworks that ensure reliable product delivery.

Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and enhance test automation frameworks using Java and the Karate Framework
- Collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met throughout the development lifecycle
- Design and execute performance tests to evaluate the reliability and efficiency of our business platforms
- Troubleshoot issues in Kubernetes environments by working closely with development teams
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage of REST APIs built with Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot
- Develop, run, and maintain automated test cases to validate Kafka and AVRO-based integrations
- Use GitHub and GitHub Actions for version control, CI/CD process optimization, and maintaining automation scripts
- Identify areas of improvement in testing workflows and propose actionable solutions
- Mentor and guide team members in quality engineering practices to promote shared ownership of quality
- Analyze and report test results, highlighting risks and potential areas for improvement
- Participate in planning and requirement review meetings to align on testing strategies
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software testing or test automation engineering roles
- Proficiency in REST API development using Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot
- Demonstrated experience in test automation utilizing the Karate Framework
- Expertise in Kafka and AVRO integration testing
- Background in performance testing to ensure optimized application behavior under load
- Light hands-on experience with Kubernetes for troubleshooting containers in collaboration with developers
- Competency in using GitHub and GitHub Actions for version control and CI/CD processes
- Excellent command of English (B2+ level), both written and spoken, with a strong emphasis on technical communication skills
