Your Impact
As a Lead Site Reliability Engineer with the Citrix Team, at OpenText, you will be responsible for delivering and supporting large-scale Citrix platforms which provide our employees with secure access to commercial environments.
The ideal candidate will be a team player, have previous experience of managing a Citrix environment for a large organization, and have a sound understanding of the technologies we support.
What the Role Offers
- Leading the resolution of high-risk and complex problems
- Proactively managing systems, to ensure resilience and Security Compliance and reduce recurring issues
- Delivering support to internal customers, which will include identifying Citrix issues, as well as network and hosted application issues, and working with other teams to resolve them
- Investigation, design, and implementation of new Citrix features to enhance the existing environments
- Prioritizing workloads effectively in a time-critical environment
- Working independently within a geographically dispersed team
What You Need to Succeed
- Experience managing Cloud (AWS and/or GCP), on Premise and Hybrid Citrix environments
- Experience in Citrix DaaS administration including PVS and MCS, and Citrix NetScaler
- Working knowledge of GCP and AWS Hyperscalers
- Experience in Windows 2022 Server Systems Administration, preferably including Active Directory, Group Policy, and Patch Management
- Experience running a Citrix environment hosted on a VMware platform
- Experience managing user profiles via UPM and WEM
- Application installation, deployment, and troubleshooting skills
- Basic Network troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Familiarity and experience with ITIL processes, especially Incident and Change management
- Willingness to join on-call rota
