We are seeking a Software Architect to define and guide the technical architecture for the DMS application, ensuring robust, secure and high-performance solutions across both frontend and backend components.
This role partners with engineering squads, product owners and infrastructure teams to align technology decisions with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the technical architecture of Omega’s full stack application
- Ensure consistency and quality across frontend and backend components
- Guide squads on design patterns, integration strategies and performance optimization
- Oversee interface design and data model alignment across systems
- Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to ensure compliance and robustness
- Review and validate technical deliverables and contribute to code quality standards
- Support release planning and environment readiness from an architectural perspective
- Mentor developers and promote architectural best practices across squads
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 1 year in an architectural role
- Expertise in JavaEE, Spring and Hibernate
- Skills in SOAP Webservices, JSF and PrimeFaces
- Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery and CSS
- Understanding of SQL and enterprise database design with Sybase or similar technologies
- Familiarity with messaging systems such as ActiveMQ and secure authentication using Kerberos or Spring Security
- Capability to design and deploy applications on Tomcat
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to balance technical depth with business context
