As a Software Mediation Tester in our Telecom area, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of Nokia Mediation systems and other mediation products. Working with a team of skilled professionals, you will validate complex telecom solutions through comprehensive testing methodologies.
Your role:
- Executing end-to-end testing of mediation streams, including decoding files and creating test CDR data for scenario testing;
- Performing performance testing and comparison testing using Nokia comparison tools;
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues in mediation systems;
- Writing code, testing and delivering high-quality workflows, nodes, streams, and functional tests;
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and integration of mediation solutions;
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives for testing processes and methodologies.
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics and Communications, or a relevant field with strong software interest;
- Minimum of 2 years' experience with Nokia Mediation or other mediation products/systems;
- Working knowledge of Nokia Mediation or similar systems with ability to independently work, write code, test and deliver quality workflows/nodes/streams and functional tests;
- Strong understanding of telecom domain concepts and excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
- Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, and Unix environments;
- Experience with scripting languages including Shell, Bash, Python, and Ansible;
- Knowledge of C, C++, Perl, Java, and XML;
- Experience with Nokia Mediation product installation, migration, and troubleshooting is a plus;
- Familiarity with Business Logic Tool (BLT), Times Ten, and other product-specific features is advantageous;
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker containers is a plus.
