We are looking for a passionate and skilled Software Packager (m/f/d) in Application Deployment to join our team in Romania. You will work closely with a global team of experts from Germany, Latvia and Malaysia, supporting large-scale enterprise environments across a variety of industries including healthcare, manufacturing, and energy.
Your Responsibilities
- Packaging and distribution of software products using modern scripting languages
- Working with common software distribution solutions such as Microsoft Intune and RealmJoin
- Improving and optimising processes in software distribution
- Analysing and resolving issues with new and existing software packages
- Documenting software packages using a workflow system
- Performing functional tests on new software packages
- Contributing expertise to projects
Your Profile
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Successfully completed training as an IT specialist (or equivalent) or a completed IT degree
- Certifications or completed training courses are desirable but not mandatory
- Strong technical understanding of software packaging
- Experience in creating software packages and knowledge of scripting or programming languages (PowerShell or others)
- Good knowledge of software deployment and integration technologies
- Experience in troubleshooting software packages and resolving issues in Windows environments
- Technical knowledge of packaging tools and methods
- AppDepl.ToolKit, MSI, ORCA (for MSI)
Soft Skills:
- Several years of professional experience in software packaging and deployment
- Very good English language skills
- ITIL checked (Information Technology Infrastructure Library)
