We are seeking a Solution Architect to lead the modernization of a reinsurance claims platform by designing and implementing a scalable, cloud-native solution utilizing Azure Cloud services, Java, Angular, and Spark.

Responsibilities
- Define and oversee the end-to-end architecture for the reinsurance claims solution
- Design modular components including portal UI, data engineering pipelines, file processing, external integrations, and analytics
- Ensure smooth integration with legacy systems while enabling future scalability
- Lead technical discussions with client teams, internal stakeholders, and delivery partners
- Drive architectural decisions ensuring compliance with enterprise standards
- Provide hands-on guidance to development teams on implementation and performance tuning
- Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and client architects to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Facilitate workshops and architecture reviews to build consensus and clarity
- Act as trusted advisor during solution design and delivery
- Establish architecture governance frameworks ensuring security and compliance
- Conduct code and design reviews to maintain quality and maintainability
Requirements
- Extensive experience in enterprise architecture and solution design (12 to 15 years)
- Strong hands-on expertise with Azure Cloud Services, including App Services, Functions, Data Factory, and Blob Storage
- Proficiency in Java development using Spring Boot and REST APIs
- Expertise in Angular version 10 or higher
- Background in Apache Spark or Spark Java for batch and streaming data processing
- Knowledge of integration patterns such as API Gateway, messaging queues, and SFTP
- Experience in insurance or reinsurance domains focused on claims processing
- Familiarity with legacy modernization and hybrid architecture approaches
- Understanding of analytics platforms like Power BI and Azure Synapse
- Azure Architect Certification, such as AZ-305 or equivalent
- Experience with BPM and workflow engines
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong client-facing presence with the ability to lead cross-functional discussions
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Skill in consensus-building and conflict resolution
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills (B2+)
